Thanks to this guy Alex's student movie, it looked like Tim would be forever traipsing in and out of the woods. You couldn't get a car up some of the trails they were using as locations. It just wasn't happening.
Tim didn't mind the exercise, though. He'd been up here a few times now they were only a couple days into the shoot and it already felt like he was entering a familiar routine. He only knew Alex, the movie's director, through their friend Brian; but the guy seemed easy to work with, even if his script had all the depth and believability of a Tommy Wiseau movie. It all happened so quickly, Alex never saw who had knocked him now, whoever it had been had managed to slap his glasses from his face, he could make out a blurry figure crouched by his feet, their face covered by a strange mask. His immediate thought when he had started chasing this mysterious figure was that they were Tim, but, after what had happened between them, Tim shouldn't be able to walk that far.

The night was cold and foggy. It was always cold and foggy now it seemed. He crouched down in the corner of their shelter and pulled his coat a bit closer around him. He coughed into his sleeve and then pulled out his pills and water. It was another night that would be filled with him thinking about everything that was happening.
He coughed again and popped two of the pills, following them down with a swig of water. He could hear his master in the shadows of the cave, blending in with the inky blackness.
